I grow it thick and full on my chin but my cheeks and above my lip is patchy. Is there anything I can do? I hear vasiline and virgin olive oil help hairs break through, but I doubt there are any hairs trying to break through.

There are a couple of products I know of, marketed as Rogaine and Minoxidil that actually work. It was discovered by chance as the active ingredient has another use, but I can't remember what.
