I'm a bloke and generally speaking I think beards are fairly slobby and unattractive unless I kept very short and well groomed which is as much hassle as shaving.

thinking back to my own adolescence, teenage boys are usually desperate to sport some kind of facial hair as a sign of their new-found masculinity. (there are few sadder sights than facial bum fluff on teenagers faces)

Hence in my opinion men with beards are either truly lazy with long bushy beards or misguided adolescents vainly attempting to demonstrate their manliness.

Have had a full beard for 26 years. it keeps the face warm in winter and keeps the sun off in Summer. I keep it neatly trimed and always shampoo it so it remains soft for the ladies. I have never had any complaints in fact quite a few anti beard ladies are now beard lovers.

I hate shaving. It's annoying and I'm lazy. My hair grows back fast, so I have to shave everyday - but then my skin is sensitive, so it gets very irritated. So, I was looking into waxing with home kits. But, there are so many products I don't know what would be better. I don't know anybody who waxes, so I can't get opinions. Plus, I have like a zero tolerance for pain. I've tried lotions and not only am I allergic to them, but my hair still comes back within a few days. I'm not looking for any facial hair remover, seeing on how I don't have any facial hair. I'm just looking for legs, bikini, and possibly my under arms. I'm kind of interested in the Sally Hansen products (especially this one: http://www.sallyhansen.com/product.cfm?p... ), but still am not sure which ones would be best.

Looking for opinions, ideas, anything! Thanks.

DO NOT SHAVE!!!!!!!!!! Shaving gets the hairs to grow back thicker. *Correction.. not thicker.. but POINTIER, because of the cut. Not good.

Pluck or wax or see a dermatologist to see if you can get lasered.

(If you have lighter skin with darker hairs then you have a better chance.)

Well, there is electryolisis but it's time consuming and costly. You can wax it. I really recommend shaving it though. Guys do it and it doesn't hurt them... AND IT WILL NOT make your hair grow back coarser and faster, that's an old wive's tale. You may see an endocronologist to run some tests to make sure your hormones are okay. Chin hair is sometimes caused by our crazy female hormones being out of whack and they can prescribe the birth control pill or something else. Good luck!

If there are just a few, I would pluck them.[ lasts longer ] More than a few, use a depilatory cream like Neet or Nair. If you shave them, you will get 'stubble' - not as bad as guys, but it still feels like stubble. You could also get a professional wax, and do it yourself later if you lik the results.

I've been through this problem.

For a long time I just plucked the "whiskers" individually. But after having two sons, and probably more testosterone in my system, I had to resort to shaving.

I finally went for electrolysis treatments. They kill of each hair follicle one by one by one by one..........you get the idea.

Unfortunately, although relatively permanent, electrolysis costs a fortune when you're talking about a chin full of course hairs. And, it takes many appointments.

I don't know about laser treatments, but I suspect they are not cheap either. Shaving is really the easiest and least expensive choice. I know of MANY women who shave! It's just not talked about.

So figure in one month, about 3 inches.

ok i want to streak my hair so i asked my salon what dye they use to streak my hair. they told me the brand name for the dye which was jolen creme bleach(which works awesome he has been using it on me for years and i have black hair! but unfortunetly he is going on a vacation for 2 months :( ), i found out that jolen creme bleach is made for facial hair but it makes sence that it would work for streaks because streaking is not like dying your whole head, just streaks. do u guys think jolen creme bleach would work for streaks?
